While staying in our self-catering apartments at "Kamenes" guest house, you have numerous activities to discover fitting both more active travellers as well as relaxation seekers.
Start the day with an amazing sunrise in the sea!
Every morning just 150m from our guesthouse you can watch the sunrise in the sea. During the day you can catch your perfect sunbath here (we offer beach chairs for rental).
Go for a lazy chill to Gausā Jūdze beach!
Only 6 km from the guest house there is a particularly beautiful beach located in between Ragaciems and Klapkalnciems. But if you are up for more active sightseeing - you can walk back to the guest house - it's a 13 km walk along the sea.
Bird watching and walk over the lake Kaņieris!
Footpath through the reeds on the lake Kaņieris is beautiful across the seasons. It is an easy but rewarding walk. If you climb up the bird watching tower you'll discover a beautiful view over the lake and spot many birds species.
There is also boat and water bicycle rental available next to the lake and it's also possible to go for a fish catching there. More information about available activities find here.
Great Ķemeri Bog Boardwalk!
Broadwalk is located next to Riga-Ventspils road, around 11km from our guest house. It is a unique experience especially if done during the sunrise or sunset. You can choose between 1,4 or 3,4 km circle. More information find here.
If you've got enough of sun bathing on the beach and breathing the nature, we suggest to consider short trips to nearby cities Riga (47km), Jūrmala (10km) and Tukums (30km) or cultural-historical sites like Šlokenbekas Manor, Jaunmoku palace or cinema village "Cinevilla".
